Here’s the lead from The Daily Juggle, described as “The blog for moms in the Pioneer Press newsroom”:
“We’ve got a new favorite band at our house called The Bazillions. They are the latest indie family music band to come out of Minneapolis and their catchy album “Rock-n-Roll Recess” is getting a fair amount of airtime in our kitchen.”

From zooglobble.com:
“The Bazillions – Rock-N-Roll Recess: Hailing from Minnesota, this was the best pure power pop debut of the year. Not only do they have some finely crafted tunes, they’ve put together some fabulous videos that suggest this isn’t just a lark for them. Another important part of the increasingly strong Minnesota family music scene.”

Word is getting out about our new video:
Let’s see, about 4 1/2 months ago, I called The Bazillions’ “Super Sonic Rocket Bike” a “great song”. Well, they’ve got a new video for the song, and…? If I called it “great,” would that be repeating myself? (But, yeah, it is.)
A new video from The Bazillions! Woo-hoo!

From owtk.com:
Another Minneapolis kindie band, another amazing song, another great new video. The Bazillions deliver an eye-catching, paper-mache animated video for “Super Sonic Rocket Bike”, the standout track from their debut album “Rock-n-Roll Recess”. This tune (and the rest of the CD) is pitch-perfect twangy indie pop rock a la Matthew Sweet.

“You won’t believe how far we’ll go,” singer/songwriter Adam Marshall intones on “Super Sonic Rocket Bike.” And that’s a concept that kids of all ages can grasp as they race downhill…and they don’t have to be 44 inches tall!

“Speaking of the Twin Cities, The Bazillions is another act making waves in this city and beyond. While their pop-rock sound is reminiscent of Justin Roberts, their vocals are their own and finely tuned thanks to their work with their own indie-rock band, The Humbugs. This band, created by parents/educators/singer-songwriters Adam and Kristin Marshall, knows how to write a memorable, catchy tune that will stand out in the iPod mix.”

”This Twin Cities quintet has been on the local scene for nearly a decade now, and their clever, absolutely infectious brand of high-energy power pop just gets more addictive with every release.” Tom Hallett, Round the Dial
